Diversified Resource Group, Inc. Provides Tailored Furniture Solutions for Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science and Technology
June 1, 2010
ATLANTA, June 2010 – Atlanta-based Diversified Resource Group, Inc. (DRG), a commercial furniture solutions designer, has completed a two-year custom project for the Gwinnett School of Mathematics, Science & Technology (GSMST), a vision of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
Developed by Gwinnett County master teachers and representatives from area colleges and universities, and reviewed by educators and industry leaders, the challenging curriculum at GSMST integrates coursework across disciplines. All courses support or complement the three focus areas of mathematics, science and technology.
DRG customized the school’s furniture over its five stories to accommodate for the high level of technology at the school.
“We literally built the furniture to accommodate the technology,” said Darrell Creedon, partner at DRG. “We modified everything to support the laptops, smart boards and other technology in each classroom.”
The project took two years to complete, and the school opens this summer. According to Creedon, the project’s success is due in large part to the proactive nature of Gwinnett County Public Schools.
“We’ve had a strategic partnership with Gwinnett County Public Schools for more than a decade, so as soon as the project came to fruition, they were in contact with us,” said Creedon. “Before the shovel even hit the dirt, we met with them to help them make their vision a reality.”
DRG provides turnkey packages for any size business – from startup to established, including furniture, architectural, audio visual and more. For more information on the project, contact Darrell Creedon at 678-282-0760.
